Mr. Guch’s Office Hours
Because I am a part-time
teacher, I am only in the building on “even” numbered days (the days that I
teach). I will not be available for help or make-up work on odd-numbered days. On “even” days, my office hours for providing
tutorial help and make up work are as follows:
- Before
school: I’m usually here by 6:50, so get half an
hour of tutoring before school!
- “Saxon
Time”: the 35 minute period
between 2nd and 4th block and my preferred time for
make up work! If it is an odd day
and you need assistance with your classwork, feel free to come to my
classroom for help from Ms. Hoblitzell (who also teaches honors chemistry)
or to any other chemistry teacher.
Likewise, any other teacher’s students are always welcome to come
to me for help.
- Lunch: A-lunch. If you have another lunch, perhaps we
can work that out (depending on what my classes are doing that day)
- After
school on Mondays until 3:00 pm.
If you need me to stay longer to make up work or for help, let me
know ahead of time and I’ll be happy to stick around.
- Wednesday
mornings from 7:00-8:15: This is a great time to make up labs or
other assignments.
- Other
times – I will announce other
times I’ll be around so you will have time to prepare.
- By
appointment: If none of the times above work out for
some reason, let me know and we’ll figure out a good time to meet. None of my students should ever feel like I’m not available
to assist them.
If you need help at unusual
hours (perhaps you’re doing homework at 4 am), you can always find online help
and additional practice problems on my website by clicking here.
