Shaun Rafferty- Guitar Shaun joined the band in August of '01,and soon became Marni's songwriting partner in crime. He's been in many Baltimore bands including Shorty and currently Cheerleaders of the Apocalypse, where he plays drums. He's played guitar for over 7 years. And no, he's not related to Sean Penn.
Marni Frank- Guitar/Vocals Marni is the founding member of DCD. Known as the drill seargent of the band, Marni runs the booking and schedules practice for 10am (no one shows up though). This is the first and only band for Marni.
Bill Bradshaw- Drums There is not a cymbal safe when Bill is nearby. He has been pounding out the beats for DCD for 2 years now. A little more Pantera than punk, a little more Kiss then classical, Bill rounds out the band's sound with his metal musical influences.
Spike-Bass Though his hair color frequently changes, it's
always easy to recognize Spike by his checkered shoes. His
turn-ons are long walks on the beach and sipping Natty Boh in the
moonlight - his turn offs are waking up before one in the afternoon and
people who switch "its" with "it's". |
HISTORY Die Cheerleader Die was formed in the winter of 1999. Their first recording was released as a short run CDR on Mutant Pop records, followed by a self release (Chasing the American Nightmare) in 2002. A third CD (Down with the Pom Poms, Up with the skirts) was released in December 2003. DCD has gone on three tours, one to the north and mid west, the second through the south to the west coast and back, and the third down the east coast and across to Texas. Die Cheerleader Die's future plans include continuing the rock and taking over the world one cheerleader at a time.
