The Twats formed in the spring of 2004. Cuntess Twat and Lord
Taint had been in bands for 5 years (Die Cheerleader Die and The
Overprivileged) but neither was touring as often as they liked. With a
lifetime of wedded bliss ahead of them they decided their chance to go
all out balls to the wall was now or never. But who to recruit on this
journey?
On guitar is Sir Drunks-a-Lot (Nik Twat, from
Chapter viii). Yes it is true he is a metalhead, as you can tell by the
long hair and wild stage poses. However,
once he came out of the closet and admitted he was truly new wave at
heart he was in.
On guitar number two is
Duckie Twat (Max). Because we liked his personality and hipster
haircut (and because he seriously brought the rock in Booboisie), he's
played shows and generally hung around and stolen our beer from the
beginning. Of course, his high school career forced his departure
in the Spring, but now that he's blowing all of his parents' money in
college, he's back!
Our latest addition to the band is Rusty Trombone. He
may be from North Dakota, but we
still think he's a heck of a guy. Feel free to come on down and
give him a big wet kiss on the lips. Especially if you're a dude.
Taking care of webnerd duties is Ian Twat (who used to play
bass, but is now content to feed the ducks in the park). He's old.
Where The Twats are heading nobody knows. In eight months there have been three tours, a split 7" with Common Enemy and a full-length CD ("Hell in my Pants"). We don't know what the future will bring, but until then all we know is this ...The Twats, we're what's for breakfast.
